​​​Our story began in 1972 when our Grandad, Derek, first opened the doors of Cornfield Bakery.

Over the years, the business flourished under the guidance of our Dad, Geoff, whose dedication, hard work and love of baking helped build the reputation we enjoy today.
Following his recent retirement, we're proud to carry the bakery forward into its next chapter.

Our Methods
Our traditional slow fermentation process naturally enhances the flavour and nutrition of the loaf. ​During fermentation, acetic acid helps break down the gluten, aiding digestion and reducing bloating, whilst lactic acid boosts nutrient absorption. ​
The end result? A more flavourful, wholesome loaf with a lower glycemic index (GI), making it easier on your body and better for your health.

We source the best ingredients available to us.
Our flour is sourced from Cotswold Flour, Britain's number one Artisan Miller based in the Cotswolds. All grains are sourced from UK farmers.
