ARTISAN BREAD
MAKING COURSES
We welcome you to join our baking family! We are so passionate about baking and love to share our knowledge with other buzzing bakers.
We have two types of courses available:
A ONE-DAY CLASS HELD AT OUR BAKERY IN WHEATLEY.
or
AN ONLINE COURSE TO COMPLETE FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME.
Both courses are aimed at anyone from complete beginners to more experienced
home-bakers, wishing to develop existing skills or to explore new techniques.
You will learn the art of Sourdough, from creating & nurturing your own Sourdough Starter, right through to taking your beautiful masterpiece from the oven & enjoying your fresh tasty loaf!
We also cover a variety of different loaves & shapes including your 'run of the mill' yeasted loaves, plus a very simple 24-hour 'No-Knead Bread'.
We also delve into the History of bread baking & the Science behind making the perfect loaf. This part will be the key to your success as it will aid in troubleshooting and understanding faults when they occur.
No matter where you are on your baking journey, we will be here to support you along the way.
We encourage you to get in touch at any point following the course, if you need any extra help or guidance along the way - or simply just to share your success!
