To keep all course attendees and our staff safe during our classes, please read the following arrangements that have been put into place going forward:

Pre-Course COVID Checks

We will send all attendees a declaration form the week before the course which we require all attendees to please complete and sign the day of attending. This should be given to our staff when you arrive in the morning, along with proof of double vaccination, or a valid negative lateral flow test via the NHS Covid App Pass.

If you have any symptoms of COVID 19 or have been told to isolate within 48hrs of the start of the course, please message the bakery on 07591 946389 as soon as possible to let us know that you cannot attend. We will then move you on to an alternative course date or offer a refund or voucher for later use.

Hygiene arrangements

All equipment used during the course will be sanitised at the beginning and end of each day, including tabletops or any other smooth surfaces, including door handles etc.

Everyone is required to wash their hands regularly using the soap and water provided for at least 20 seconds each time or use hand sanitiser if you are unable to access the sinks. This includes:

  • Upon arrival at the bakery

  • After using the toilet

  • Before and after eating

  • After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

  • And, if you use a tissue, make sure you dispose of it straight away into the bin.

Doors will be propped open to reduce the touching of door handles and increase air circulation.

All drinking cups used must be disposed of immediately after use into the bins provided, and you are welcome to bring your own refillable water bottle if you would prefer.

Social distancing

Although everyone will have been checked for their COVID pass before entering the bakery, we ask all attendees to be mindful to keep a reasonable away from others during the day. Attendees will be allocated a designated work area for the day, and the lunch area will be set up with as much spacing as possible.

PPE

Attendees will be asked to wear a facemask/shield/visor during the course. These can be provided if you do not have one with you.

Please note that our Baker will not be wearing a facemask while he is presenting to you, however he will be wearing a mask if he needs to come and assist you individually at any point during the day.

Lunch

Lunch will be provided, and drinks will be available during the day as well. If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance so we can make sure we can provide an option for you.
